Walter Fletcher, Founder & CEO

Walter Fletcher, a professional football player for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League, was born and resides in Maryland, USA. In July 2018, he founded D.U.O. Endeavors, a venture dedicated to training, inspiring and mentoring individuals to become the best version of themselves.

In high school, Walter excelled on the football field. Concluding his senior year, he set school records and lead Howard County in rushing yards and touchdowns. That led to an All-County selection and a spot on the All-State team. Despite his accomplishments, he faced the challenge of not receiving any scholarship offers. Undeterred, he enrolled at East Coast Prep in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. However, even after three months at prep school, scholarship offers remained elusive.

Walter’s journey continued at Randolph-Macon College, a Division III school for a semester, before he took a bold step to transfer and walk-on at Edinboro University’s Division II football program. Over the next three years (2015-2018), he transformed from a walk-on into a three-year starter, setting numerous school records, being named PSAC West Offensive Player of the Year (2018) and becoming a two time All-American.

After graduating with a degree in Sports Administration in 2019 with one year of eligibility remaining, Walter pursued his dream of playing high-level Division-I football. He earned a full scholarship to attend Ball State University as a graduate transfer. After obtaining his masters degree in Athletic Coaching Education and despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Walter garnered interest from various NFL teams. With the cancellation of his Pro-Day, he went undrafted and left unsigned.

Through dedication and determination, Walter remained in shape and continued to train athletes. In December 2020, Walter signed his first professional contract with the Edmonton Elks. In the following year, Walter earned a spot in the Centennial’s class of 2021 Hall of Fame. Fast forward to 2023, he clinched a narrow victory in the 110th CFL Grey Cup, marking the first championship of his playing career. His story serves as a source of inspiration, emphasizing the values of perseverance, hard work, and the willingness to take risks. As he continues his professional career with the Montreal Alouettes, Walter Fletcher remains a motivational figure, encouraging others to never give up on their aspirations!
